There‘s an old traditional art form in Lithuania that persists to this day – the weaving of straw gardens. Usually they are made from small straws tied together into a complex geometrical composition that symbolizes the order of the heavens and the universe. The hypnotizing geometry of Lithuanian gardens came to live in my jewellery, but instead of straws I use metal.
